If you’ve been running around the Fischmas areas and still haven’t found Santa, you’re not alone. His location is not in the main Christmas map by default, which is what confuses most players. This guide explains exactly where Santa is and what you need to do after finding him.
Santa’s Actual Location (Important)
Santa is not located in Moosewood, Northstar Village, or the Fischmas event islands at first.
Santa is found in the Northern Expedition area.
This is the key detail many players miss. If you’re searching around the Fischmas map and Winter Village, you won’t find him there until you complete the next step.
How to Reach Santa Easily
Once you travel to the Northern Expedition:
- Santa is located roughly around the middle of the Northern Expedition map
- He is out in the open, not hidden inside buildings
- If you own a UFO, finding him becomes much faster since you can scan the area from above
Even without a UFO, Santa is not hard to spot as long as you’re searching in the correct zone.
What to Do After You Find Santa
Finding Santa alone is not enough.
After locating him in the Northern Expedition, you must:
- Open your inventory
- Use the Snow Globe item
Using the Snow Globe will teleport Santa to the Christmas (Fischmas) world, allowing him to appear in the event area where players can interact with him properly.
If you do not use the Snow Globe, Santa will remain in the Northern Expedition and will not move.
Common Mistakes Players Make
Searching only in the Fischmas event area
Not checking the Northern Expedition at all
Finding Santa but forgetting to use the Snow Globe
Thinking Santa spawns automatically in the Winter Village
If Santa isn’t showing up for you, it’s almost always because the Snow Globe step was skipped.
Why Finding Santa Matters
Santa is directly tied to:
- Fischmas progression
- Santa’s Letter feature
- Event rewards and interactions
If you want access to free rods, holiday quests, or Santa-related mechanics, locating and teleporting him is required.
